SACAI administers the National Senior Certificate (NSC) examinations for candidates in two sessions each year: October/November and May/June.
Registration for the October/November session is conducted through SACAI-registered institutions. Only learners enrolled with these institutions may be entered for this examination period.
The May/June examination session is available to repeater candidates wishing to improve their NSC results. Registration for this session is completed directly via the SACAI online portal.

SACAI works with a network of qualified professionals to ensure the integrity and quality of our examination processes. We invite suitably qualified and experienced individuals to apply for the following roles:
SACAI appoints qualified and trained teachers who meet our specific criteria to serve as examiners, markers, and moderators.
SACAI establishes its own examination centres and requires dedicated individuals to assist in the supervision of examinations. If you are interested in invigilating or monitoring the writing of examinations.
SACAI also appoints Exam Assistants to support various administrative and logistical processes during examination sessions. If you would like to be considered for this opportunities.
SACAI offers training for individuals who wish to serve as invigilators or amanuenses during examinations. These training sessions ensure that all personnel involved in the administration of exams are fully equipped to uphold the integrity and smooth running of the examination process.
